Ottawa is the capital of Canada and the country's fourth largest city, as well as the second largest city in the province of Ontario. It is located in the Ottawa Valley on the eastern edge of the province of Ontario, 400 kilometres (250 mi) north-east of Toronto and 190 kilometres (120 mi) west of Montreal. Ottawa lies on the banks of the Ottawa River, a major waterway that forms the border between Ontario and Quebec.
About mold:
Mold is a fungus that can be found in abundance in the natural environment. Although useful for the production of various food and medicines (e.g. cheese and penicillin), mold that grows indoors is not desirable and should be removed immediately. Since mold requires only a nutrient source, moisture, and the right temperature to multiply, it is not surprising that mold growth is such a widespread problem in all types of buildings and materials. Once mold growth begins, it can spread quickly and easily, eating away at materials and menacing not only the structural soundness and integrity of the building in question, but also the very health of the people exposed to its presence. For this reason, it is crucial to eliminate the source of the moisture by taking appropriate mold remediation action.
